SIMPLY LAVENDER CAKE
From Lavender Green Farm
1 Boxed White Cake Mix (recommend Duncan Hines)
Follow mixing directions but also add:
2 Tbs of (organic) crushed lavender buds
2 Tbs of rose flavored syrup
Use a greased and floured bunt pan. Follow cooking directions. When you pull it out of the oven, cover in foil (for added moisture.) When cooled, turn onto plate.
Frost cake with 1 can of Cream Cheese Whipped frosting. Sprinkle the top of the cake with 1 tsp of lavender buds. Garnish plate with fresh mint leaves, or your favorite flower, like daisies or pansies.
(You can also use yellow, lemon, orange, or chocolate cake mix.) People love the unique taste of lavender. We get rave reviews each time we serve it!
